2017 Ford Focus - Tifton, Georgia
Pick Your Powertrain
The 2017 Ford Focus has a large variety of engines, based on which Focus mode you choose. For those driving the regular Focus trims, there are two different powertrains. The larger of the two is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that can run on Flex Fuel. The smaller is a 1.0-liter Ecoboost three-cylinder engine, which delivers higher fuel economy for slightly less power. Then, if you upgrade to the Focus RS you get a 2.0-liter Ecoboost, or if you go to the Focus ST, you take another step up to a 2.3-liter Ecoboost. Or, you can opt to give up gas entirely and get the Focus Electric, which swaps the gas motor for a 107kW electric motor.
Pick Your Features
The different models of the 2017 Ford Focus come with a variety of useful and interesting standard features. However, the various Focus models can be made more personal with the addition of the various optional features. In the base model, that means the option to add a Power Code™ Remote Start System, and as you move up the trim line, you have access to even more interesting features, from comfort systems like heated front seats and dual-zone automatic temperature control to technology features like a Cross-Traffic Alert system and Active Park Assist.
